💬 Jabber Chat

In the dashboard you'll find an app called Jabber Chat. The underlying technology is called Jabber or XMPP. To log in, simply use the same email and password that you use to log in to the dashboard.

This lets you chat with anyone with an @aangat.lahat.computer account but also anyone with an Jabber account on different servers as well! You can also use apps like ChatSecure (iOS) or Conversations (Android) with your account, and it will just work.

Jabber has a bit of an inconsistent experience across different devices, and encryption doesn't necessarily happen automatically. If you haven't used Jabber before, I'd recommend people use Delta Chat instead because the interface is the same across different platforms, and onboarding is much faster. I host a server for it as well so feel free to sign up there!
